This website is intended to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among members of the Pajarito Group and dissemination to other interested members of the Los Alamos Community . These could include information about upcoming activities and meetings, as well as Pajarito position statements, information and discussions about local, state & national envirtonmental issues.

We expect that discussions may include diverse opinions from contrary points of view.

Articles & e-mails-- We encourage & solicit articles, viewpoints and opinions from our members. Please submit your articles, viewpoints or opinions electronically via an appropriate subcommittee chairperson, the webmaster or other member of the ExCom.

Activity or meeting dates & descriptions-- "Calendar" events should be sent by email directly to the webmaster.

Quotes & Sources-- We appreciate whatever you can do to provide references or links documenting your quotes and statements.

Caveats

The website will NOT post...

• anonymous articles;
• articles or discussions that are not germane to the Sierra Club mission;
• materials outside of "fair use" which are restricted by copyright (unless with permission);
• pornographic, libelous, or otherwise illegal materials or information;
• materials or viewpoints judged to be harmful or damaging to the Pajarito group;
• materials that violate the guidelines of the National Sierra Club

Submissions are not edited or censored-- they are either accepted, or returned for reworking. The sponsor or webmaster may work with authors to edit submission content, clarity and/or brevity prior to posting. The webmaster may create headlines, teasers, & sections, or otherwise format the document to enhance its readability.
